One of my favourite things at Xmas is to be a stall holder at the rather fabulous @alexandranurseries - I get to natter to lots of my little folk customers, sell them my nursery- rhyme-inspired-wares that have grown over the years from CDs and Colouring Books to t-shirts & little folk kit bags and I get to be with my crafty-sista @michelle_poultney - now life is so busy with our teens and the school run is long gone (yes, Mammas, it really does end 🤣🤣) this is when we get to have a proper catch up!

This post is a little window into the SOMETIMES VERY FRUSTRATING WORLD OF TYPE 1 DIABETES - last week I had to post about not being able to run my @brownandgreencafe class as my eldest teen was having minor surgery - it is hard enough to take time off for one appointment as I feel SO GUILTY.

SO FRUSTRATINGLY l have to tell you that there is NO @brownandgreencafe CLASS AGAIN TOMORROW my son’s Type 1 Diabetes caused his surgery to be postponed as his Blood Sugar Level went too high which prevented the anaesthetic from working efficiently within the allotted time for the minor surgery - frustrating for everyone but especially for my boy who had prepared himself for the surgery only to have it taken away by the constant chronic condition that he has to battle EVERY.DAY.OF.HIS.LIFE.

SO WE HAVE TO TRY THE SURGERY AGAIN TOMORROW. Apologies for missing the class 😭💋
